Arthritis means inflammation of the joints. There are approximately 200 of these conditions that affect the joints, the tissues that surround the joints, and other connective tissues.

The two most common forms of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. As we’ve discussed in past blogs, osteoarthritis causes the cartilage to break down. Osteoarthritis is simply the result of life’s wear and tear on our joints. Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease in which the immune system attacks the joints, beginning with the lining of the joint.

At TruWell Health, we help you find ways to reduce the pain and keep moving.
